former performer with The Cavaliers and a former staff member with the Phantom Regiment. He is a member of the American Society of Composers Authors and Publishers (ASCAP), the Vic Firth Educational Team, Texas UIL, and the Percussive Arts Society.  Steve holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of North Texas where he was a music scholarship recipient and had the honor of studying music composition with Dr. Martin Mailman as well as Dr. Joseph Klein.

Steve C. Bell  has been a composer, arranger, performer, private teacher, scholastic clinician, and adjudicator for over thirty years.  Many of the ensembles he has worked with have been involved with the Tournament of Bands, Percussive Arts Society International Convention, Bands of America, and various State Scholastic Activities Associations.
